This 5 minute film was shown on BBC TV’s “Tomorrow’s Word programme and is considered by some modellers as being the first “serious” model flying item of its kind.
The presented was James Burke, later very well known for his coverage of the US space programme, the pilot of the first two models was Idris Francis, owner of this web site.
